Ingredients (2 servings)

・1 medium potato, diced into 1/2-inch cubes

・1 slice bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces

・1 clove garlic, minced

・1 tbsp dried vegetable mix

・1 cup canned tomatoes (crushed or diced)

・1 cup water

・1 tsp chicken bouillon (consommé powder)

・Salt to taste

・Olive oil for sautéing

・Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

1. Prepare the potatos.
Dice the potato into 1/2-inch cubes and soak briefly in water to remove excess starch.

2. Mince the garlic.
Crush the garlic clove first, then mince it for better aroma.

3. Cut the bacon.
Slice the bacon into 1-inch pieces.

4. Sauté the garlic.
Heat olive oil in a pot and cook the garlic over medium heat until lightly golden and fragrant.

5. Add bacon and potatoes.
Add the bacon and potatoes, stirring over medium heat until the aroma develops.

6. Add tomatoes.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and gently break them apart with a spoon.

7. Add water and dried vegetables.
