Noda Miso Co. founded in 1928 (Showa 3), has been nurturing miso using traditional methods in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, while preserving approximately 400 of Japan’s largest wooden barrels and storehouses.

To let you fully experience the authentic flavor and rich taste of miso, aged slowly over time in wooden barrels using natural fermentation, we have focused on keeping the ingredients as simple as possible.

The soup base is a balanced dashi made from bonito flakes and kelp.
It comes with generous servings of classic toppings: wakame seaweed, fried tofu, and green onion.
You can enjoy two servings each of “Aka Dashi,” made with pure soybean miso, and “Awase,” a blended miso combining soybean miso and rice miso.

Simply add hot water, and you can enjoy a comforting bowl of miso soup made with soybean and rice miso.
No artificial seasonings are used, so even children can enjoy it with peace of mind.

Locally Grown Soybeans and Rice from Aichi Prefecture

They use 100% Aichi-grown soybeans and rice for the miso.
They personally visit the producers, talk with them, and see the fields where the soybeans are cultivated before entering into production agreements.
This important first step is essential to our miso-making process.
